Senior Center Director - This position oversees the day to day operations of The Silvermont Opportunity Center. The position requires independent, initiative, creative leadership and dedication to the principle of improving the lives of senior citizens age 60 and older.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Geriatrics, Social Work or a related field
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in human services or recreation preferably related to the senior population.

Early Head Start Teachers (Henderson and Polk counties)
Minimum of Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred. Must hold a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infant/Toddler.

Applicants need experience in Child Development. Prefer experience in a Child Care Center or School.
Home Visitor- Applicants must be bilingual in Spanish.
Education/Training/Experience: High School Diploma or GED Required. Prefer Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Early Childhood Education, SocialWork, or a Nationally Accredited CDA (Infant/Toddler, Preschool, or Home Visitor).

CDL Van Driver– Full-Time. Must possess a valid North Carolina CDL license with Passengers and School bus endorsement. Pocket card preferred. Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical pre-employment and maintain medical card. Basic computer skills required.

Transportation Assistant - 12.5 Hours/ Week; M-F 4:30pm-7:00pm
Provide administrative support to the Transportation Department by providing evening customer service with a focus on securing the building nightly.
Performs a wide variety of accounting and record keeping tasks in the Finance Department, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounting transactions, reporting and inventory. Provides accounting support to the staff in the Finance Department.
Education/Training: Associate’s degree in a related field preferred 3-4 years related work experience.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant and recent experience in accounting in an automated environment.
