Position Summary: Educate and coach families in the areas of parenting, health, nutrition, and child development through weekly home visits to assist parents in becoming more effective educators of their children. Utilize program curriculum, on-going observations of children, assessments, child outcomes systems content consistent with program policies, developmentally appropriate practice, and the Head Start Performance Standards during the planning process and implementation of weekly visits. Areas of service are Henderson, Transylvania, and Polk Counties.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serving as a member of Western Carolina Community Action's (WCCA's) leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the development of WCCA's financial management system and will contribute to the development of the organization's strategic goals.
WCCA seeks an innovative, motivated, hands-on leader who can move from 30,000 feet to the ground floor with ease. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing computer driven accounting and financial systems, be adept at problem solving, and have exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will have an unquestioned level of integrity, empathy, and respect for the diverse work force and client base that WCCA serves.
